Do you consider yourself a Masterchef???

So ever since our move... during our down time, or at least my down time, I go on either my laptop or the PS3 and watch a new favorite and obsession. It's called MASTERCHEF! Have you seen it? I love it! It's a cooking competition that was originally created in Australia and it's all about taking ordinary home cooks and making them compete for the title of becoming Masterchef. It has all sorts of tests and just watching it will seriously make you hungry. It has Gordon Ramsay, Graham Elliott and Joe Bastianich. They're all awesome! It might sound weird but I love cooking shows from Food Network to Iron Chef to Rachael Ray's and to anything that has Chef Gordon Ramsay on it. Even though he has the foulest Scottish mouth I've ever watched or known, I still think he's awesome. He's mean and vicious but at the same time, honest.. which is good. He can definitely make you cry if he talked to you but if you want to be the best, you have the face all aspects of being the best and I think Gordon Ramsay is the person to whip you up into shape. He's like the 'Simon Cowell' of cooking. I love it. It sounds awful but I like this show more now than American Idol. Haha! It makes me want to learn how to cook so bad and become really good at it too. So we'll see how it goes. Maybe that time will come someday once I become a mom and have all the time to experiment in my very own kitchen with my kiddos. :)

2 That's what they said:

  1. We love Masterchef, Kitchen Nightmares and Hells Kitchen. Also, we cook so much better and have more ideas after watching these shows. We should have a Hells Kitchen or Masterchef night. It would be rad!

  2. Steph likes this show too. I watched some of it and I find it entertaining merely because of all the things that people do wrong and get yelled at for. It makes me laugh. I love cooking myself, and think that this show is a great way to get those who love to cook and turn them into great chefs.
