Thank You.. Harry!

Yesterday was finally the day that Curt and I were able to watch the last Harry Potter movie. I have been waiting for this day since last year when we watched the 1st part of Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows. But when the day came, we were in Moab. Then sadly, I had migraines all week so bright lights on a big screen wouldn't help me much and I was just dead tired everyday. So yesterday, Curt decided that we were going on a date and watch it. We went out and ate dinner at Tsunami, which was a really good Japanese place. I had the Lush roll while he had some Asian ribs. They were both really good. I was super hungry so after my roll I decided to swipe some from his plate. Haha! The ribs were really good and even though it was a lil spicy, the sweetness of the sauce made it yummier. We finished dinner half an hour early so we decided to just go to the movies and sit down while waiting. The theatre was empty at first but then right when it almost started, that's when people started flocking the theatre. It wasn't crowded but it wasn't that empty either. I even saw my co-worker Rachael.
When the movie I started, I kinda got teary-eyed just because I know that it was the end. I sat there while watching it, remembering the scenes from the book when I read it and I started crying my eyes out. From the attack of the school, to comrades dying, to Snape's final breath, the truth of his identity and his role throughout the entire story line, until the scene of Harry, Hermione, and Ron surviving through the whole thing. It was a good way this magnificent series. I wish and hope that they will compile the movies into one big thing like LOTR did just so that I know I will have the books and the movies to remember part of my childhood and share it to our children someday.

Whoa.. Chopsticks!!

 Yummy Gyozas!

Lush Roll.. (I started eating and then realized I wanted to take a pic!)

Our week in a small post..

Curt and I have been busy all week! It doesn't feel like summer at all to us just because we've been running around like mad crazy people.. well at least I have haha! Anyway, I hope everyone had a good 4th of July. We kinda did since we spent most of the day cleaning out the apartment that we will be living in soon. (Yes, we are moving again, sadly!) But it's for a good cause. We saw some amazing fireworks and a good show at The Stadium of Fire down in Provo. It was probably one of the most amazing fireworks show I've seen. It was great!!! And we also got to sit close to the stagee.. David Archuleta was adorable and Brad Paisley is just a talented hottie! Even Curt was wowed by his amazing guitar skills. We were lucky to get two tickets from our good friends, Alec and Kelsey. Over the week, we were happy to also hang out with our dear friends, Molly and Matt again. It's been months since we've seen them. So yesterday, we all went out to dinner at WingCoop and introduced their fabulous wings. We had a fun time and chatted the night away. Of course, the girls weren't full yet so we decided to ditch the guys and head out to get some frozen yogurt from a new lil place in Holladay. YUM! After that, we drove down through Walker Lane in Holladay where we just admired the huge and beautiful houses and picked which one would be our future houses. (It's free to dream, right?!) LOL! Well, even though the week felt like it dragged, it still ended nicely. :)

A Birthday, 2 Dates, & Modern Family!!

Finally, it's the weekend! I couldn't have been more happier since this week has been so busy and stressful for me. Work and packing for the big move at the end of the month is just crazy! I can't wait for our California and Mexico cruise vacation in the next week or so!!! SO EXCITED! Anyway, for this week, we had a birthday, 2 dates, and of course, the first season of Modern Family!! Thanks to my awesome co-worker, Teri, she made my day by letting me borrow the first season of Modern Family. That show is hilarious!! I'm almost done with the whole DVD. I feel pathetic but I can't stop watching it. LOL! On Wednesday, Carrie turned the BIG 22!! Woot woot!! We went to the Mayan restaurant and had an awesome dinner. She got some awesome pics with the Mayan Divers. Then on Thursday & Friday night, Curt and I went on dates just to calm down the stress and to end the week right. Haha!! On Thursday, we decided to go to the DI and look for cool cheap stuff. We ended up with cute wall decorations and 2 games: Express Yourself and Phase 10. After, we went to Graywhale and bought 6 DVDs and Tron in Blu-Ray. It was so cheap we felt like we hit the jackpot haha! Curt then decides that we should go get frozen yogurt at YogurtLand and then he took me to this park. It was cool coz it looked like a tiny town. Even thought it was a nice day, it was cold since we had frozen yogurt and it was getting dark. It was fun though. And on Friday, we went to SmashBurger for dinner and just stayed home to watch a movie. It was just nice to have a relaxing Friday night. I hope everyone had a good week and enjoy your weekend!! <3
